<![CDATA[Where to look for clients?]]>https://www.vuadeep.art/post/where-to-look-for-clients63de43060fd3660ecefeb68fSat, 04 Feb 2023 11:40:45 GMTVadim PopovFreelancing is a profitable way of earning for many performers, but starting work as a freelancer can be difficult if you don't know where to find orders. Let's consider several effective ways of finding orders for freelancers.

1. Freelance platforms: Many freelance platforms, such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, provide access to a wide range of clients and help you find suitable projects. Register on such platforms and publish your services.

2. Social networks: Use your profiles on social networks such as LinkedIn, Twitter, or Facebook to share your services with friends and colleagues. You can also join groups related to your fields through Telegram or Discord.

3. Blogs and forums: Visit blogs and forums related to your fields and look for opportunities for collaboration. You can also leave comments and speak with messages that represent your services.

4. Personal contacts: Your friends, relatives, and colleagues can become your clients. Don't be afraid to offer them your services and make yourself known as a freelancer.

5. Local groups: Participate in local groups and events related to your fields to meet other professionals and potential clients.

It is important to remember that success in freelancing depends on your reputation and the quality of your work. Strive to deliver quality work on time and maintain your portfolio.

But this is a poor tactic for earning on freelancing platforms. And here's why.

There are a huge number of freelancing platforms. And new ones appear every day.

The main feature of working on freelancing platforms is your profile. When you work on a platform, after each completed order, the client leaves you a review and a rating. The more reviews and ratings you have, the stronger your profile.

The profile is the first thing the client looks at when choosing an executor. A strong profile allows you to win among competitors for orders. Clients also write to you more often and offer work.

Since profile building is a complicated process, it should be focused on a few of the largest platforms.

There are many freelancing platforms, but efforts should be concentrated.
